Frequently Asked Questions about becoming a Consultant with Close To My Heart or having a CTMH Membership
Q. How much does it cost to get started?
A. The consultant kit costs only $99 (plus tax/shipping) and contains over $300 worth of materials. Some are business materials, but most are for you to create with: All three level of My Reflections Kits, stamps, inks, accessories and more. (email me @ helen@hookedonstamping.com or see the flyer on my website).
Q. What are the bonus packs?
A. The bonus packs contain additional products that you can add on if you wish ... one contains Scrapbooking supplies and Reflections How To Program ($60); the other contains Card Making supplies and Originals Card Making How To Program ($50). When you purchase the basic kit and both bundles, you will receive over $730 in Products for as little as $209!
Q. Is there a minimum requirement? (The most asked question.)
A. There is a very easy minimum: only $300 per quarter! With each calendar quarter, you need to sell $300 in a three month period. There is no penalty if you don’t, you would go into the junior consultant program and can be reinstated as active when you sell $300 in a quarter.
Q. Where do I get training?
A. You will receive great training from many areas:
- From CTMH: you will receive Start With Heart, a newsletter for new consultants for the first 13 weeks. This newsletter has great tips and ideas to help you get started. It gives you step by step instructions/tips and does it in a very organized fashion. Plus the Training Academy has ONLINE classes you can take on your time and learn MANY business and creative tips and ideas (and there's more!). You'll love this fabulous program!
- From Me: I am always here to help you and answer your questions. I want you to be a success and can offer you helpful tips and ideas on how to get started and beyond. I have a team Website as well ... that you will be a part of and find support from ALL of your "sisters!"
- Events: There are events you can attend that will help you in business and creative needs. They are Regional Celebration; Leadership and Convention.
- Websites: CTMH has a bulletin board where consultants from all over the country share tips, art, ideas and workshops! It’s a great source! Our team website is a great online gathering place for support from members on my team. We share art, workshops, answer questions and offer valuable support when in need. 24/7 and you can ask and you shall receive!
Q. I’m afraid I won’t be able to create. Is there any help for me to get started?
A. YES! One of the best parts of being a consultant is you get creative training! We have a Training Academy filled with artwork, workshops, cutting guides, materials needed and “how to” instructions! Workshops on the Go for three months are posted here so you can take the information and run with it!
Plus, as a new consultant, the Training Academy has a special place for you too! Just click on this button and artwork/instructions have been created for you to duplicate with the items that come in your kit!! How cool is that!?
Our team website also is a place where team members share their ideas and artwork too!
Q. What kind of incentives does the company offer?
A. There are a few different incentives CTMH offers:
Straight to the Top is a fabulous program that helps you set only two attainable goals:
- 30 days/$300: Sell $300 in your first 30 days and receive $25 in Select Product Credit;
- 90 days/$1800: Sell $1800 in your first 90 days and receive $125 in Select Product Credit. This IS doable and many have achieved it! Do both Levels and you receive $150 in free product!
- Additionally, for every new consultant that joins YOUR team in the first 90 days, you'll receive $15 in stamp credits.
Cruise/Trip Contest: If you want to get a free vacation, you can earn one fabulous cruise for TWO with CTMH! I have earned the Mediterranean Cruise and I'm now working on earning a Caribbean Cruise! Can you picture yourself on a vacation for two? Well, it’s worth the effort and so much fun with lots of consultants and their families. I wouldn’t want to miss any of them!
Q. Does the company offer special promotions?
A. ABSOLUTELY!
Constant Campaigns is a program where each month the company has something to offer to help you grow your business in sales, recruiting, hostess rewards, or for the consultant. This program has been the best and doesn’t cost you a thing! If you share the promo, you will achieve higher sales because the program is here to help YOU and your customers get the most for their purchases! I love it!
Stamp of the Month: Each month, CTMH has a special “exclusive” stamp set that is available ONLY that month. A customer can purchase it separately, but most want to get it FREE or @ a 25%, 50% or 75% discount! Another fabulous program that helps you upsell and increase your sales.
Q. Who pays for the Hostess Rewards?
A. Close To My Heart pays for the hostess rewards, not you. In addition, the hostess receives free shipping on her rewards, compliments of CTMH!
